Some fur trade finds (post clean-up). Mouth harps cleaned up nicely. Fire-steel a bit pitted but still happy.

Two found on one site (along with a zillion knives) and the other found in the middle of the forest...nothing else near it so figures some soul dropped while out wandering the woods.

Those are nice finds. A lot of jew's harps show up on native American sites. I got one of the those strike-a-lite's on a French & Indian War site when I first started digging colonial sites. It looked too modern, so I threw it out.
