Well, returned my dimes (somehow the bag ended in 6 cents...not entirely happy about that but they didn't care I came out $3.65 ahead on the pennies so guess I can't complain) and got a bag of quarters, out of which I only pulled a 2010 Oregon Mt. Hood D for my book. Was kinda dejected, hoping for a little more than just one, but luckily my bank's other branch had a bag of dimes available. So, made a trip there (yes, 2nd time I've done 2 bank runs in a day, I may need help...) and exchanged the quarters for those dimes. Found the following 2010, not sure whats going on, looks like a bad planchet or something? Machine doubling maybe?

My mother decided to try her hands at dimes. I jokingly told her to find me silver...and this was the next coin she pulled:

And lastly, my 16th country: Belgium!

Also found a 77 canadian, but meh. Happy hunting everyone, get to turn these dimes into nickels tomorrow after work!

Nothing wrong with that 1977 dime - 2.07 grams of pure nickel. I guess I'm going to contradict my foreign coins post now and say I did enjoy finding Canada coins minted before 2000, because I knew they were either 99.9% nickel or they had some silver, In the case of pennies, they were 98% copper - a higher percentage than US cents. Back in the day some 99.9% nickel Canada coins were worth more in melt value than face value. I've still got rolls and rolls of Canadian coins sorted by metal composition. I've been to Canada several times and could never decide what to do with them.
