Back out at my friend's place, this old ranch, where I found a few date nails from the railroad in the corral and a few other things in a old garbage dump nearby, including that shoe, old revolver casings, some pearl buttons, a little bottle, some buckles and that round thing there this says "Lift This Side" on it or something like that. Also found what I think is a Native American scraper or some other kind of tool mixed in with the dump. Anybody else recognize it? Im thinking scraper. And is that a mule show? Or just an unusual horse shoe?

Date nails include a 1957, a first for me, a nice 1931, 1941, a bent up but intact 1928, two rusty 1927s and a rusty 1926. Thanks for looking

What a great set of relics! Congrats on these interesting and historical finds! :icon_thumleft:

That is a unique shoe for sure. Always love to see what the desert gives up.:icon_thumright:

That's a good scraper. Love the nails.

Thanks everyone. Im happy with what I found. That horseshoe is pretty cool too, Ive never found one shaped like it before.

Great finds, OP! Mule shoe tips usually point outward like yours, horsehoes point in or straight. Oxen shoes usually come in two pieces! Sub 8-)

Done well in the recoveries, don't get the date nails up here much if at all. Nice scraper!
