Had been out digging , did not have time to post any thing , well I have got around to do it now, been digging in a 1920s pit and some strange things , fist a pepper sous Evangeline's from La .also a blow in the mold med that just says M D. Nice finds, sunrunner! I love that second bottle, the MD USA quart. I wonder if it's from Maryland or if it's a 'medical department' bottle, like those old 'hospital department' bottles.

Hey, good finds. The 1915 Coke is cool, hope it cleans up fine. I also like the St. Martinville Evangeline sauce

"Charles H. Oestreich patented his design for a hand-shaped bottle on November 3, 1931. It has been found in both clear crystal glass and frosted crystal. The middle finger of the hand is also the opening of the bottle and was originally fitted with a screw cap. [Illustration]" --Albert Christian Revi, AMERICAN PRESSED GLASS AND FIGURE BOTTLES, 1970.

The illustration shows three diamond embossments on a band around the base of the bottle (on the back of the hand side only).
