Some people have asked to see some of my newbie bottle collection, and I shyly do so. Especially after seeing all the badass bottles others find when digging 10 ft holes!! I am including some, and I will post more later (after I learn how to best clean them).

Awesome igloo ink I have yet to dig one. Did you dig all these at one spot? And you shouldn't be shy about posting were all pretty friendly here it's always a good learning experience. I look forward to seeing more posts from you.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, RelicDude. No, I found these at different spots. One, because the spots are real close to the border fence near some of the most violent parts of Mexico. Secondly, my husband gets bored easily, and I am more meticulous and thorough. I always feel like I could find more…This is probably going to sound a little silly, but I even need time to feel the places out, until my gut leads me to a particular spot. Not to badmouth the hubby, because he turned me onto this hobby, and he finds really cool sh**; however, sometimes I wish I could visit these places alone, as we have differences in digging opinions. I can't go to these places alone. They are too risky, and my husband is the one with the guns, in more ways than one. BUT, I WAS the one that spotted a rattlesnake, on one of our last digs. Had to throw that one in, cause I'm smart and a rambler...

The first 2 inks, I dug in La Union, New Mexico. I dug the igloo in Lanarc. It was difficult to get to, because the new railroad is currently being built. The crew sent us away, and we had to find some old dusty roads that could get us to the abandoned town. Upon arrival at Lanarc, it became evident that bulldozers had already cleared most of the land. We rummaged and dug through the piles anyway, and about 4 feet into a pile, I spotted the igloo. To think that it wasn't crushed or damaged is mind-blowing. The latter bottles were dug at Mt. Riley, an old ghost town in New Mexico. The one that is confusing is the one in pictures #7, 8, and 9. It came from Arena, New Mexico. I thought it was an Owens at first, but the markings show overlapping circles with a tick looking insect in the middle.

I still need to find the privies. I don't know how, but I know that they're there.
