Found a few things today, harmonica reed, 1950s toy guns, cars, and a few unknown items. Including what i believe may be a large cent.

Look at 1803 draped bust large cent.Not saying that is the date, but I think it is that style.You need to see from what year to what year that style was used.

Also i just realized that the other item pictured is a scabbard tip from Springfield musket.

I've been looking at other examples and i do think that it's very similar. I sure wish there was more detail. I was still happy to find it though. It was at the end of the day and i was about ready to give up. Just goes to show you persistence pays off.

I didn't even pay it much attention at the time. I just threw it in my pouch and kept on going. It wasn't until after i got home that i realized it was a scabbard tip. Which is the case with a lot of the things i find. Although i do have different pockets in my pouch for the better finds and i carry a small box for things like buttons that i don't want being beaten to death all day by the nails and iron junk i dig.
