Some past finds

Here are some american coins I have found in the past. Ive always been more into looking for indiain artifacts and old bottles which I do have some knowledge about. But when it comes to coins I have none, I ususally throw them in a old cigar box and thats that. I think this year I will buy a book and check some values and maybe find a display case.

What is the coin above the dark colored nickel (the nickel with the number 5 on it). Is it a bust dollar? Thanks for sharing!

Yes I think thats what Ive heard that coin called , dated 1835 I think.

You got some neet finds there. Those Shield Nickels could be worth some money. That's not a Bust Dollar though. It's got to be a half. They didn't make any dollar coins in 1835. HH
