found 12/24 and today at a new spot
usual trash and odds and ends
old farmhouse falling in on itself
there is a LARGE TREE thats fallen into the one side of the house
a lady in her 70s owns it
drives a nice new Cadillac she used to rent it till the last tenant
trashed it and stole all the wiring :-\ :( go figure
she gave me the green light for a yard search
i was able to do about little over half of the 2 sides opposite of the tree leaning threw
2 Rosie's 53/59
6 wheat's 29 oldest 39/44/46/58 i forget the other off hand
some pocket watch pieces
a lock
thimble
key to a ford falcon
copper lantern mantel
2 marbles
a lens of some sort a rifle scope maybe
3 bucks in clad or so
and an interesting copper sign that i had to unfold and tap out flat with a hammer
also a couple odd pieces that they are pictured they sit on top of the lock
i believe its part of a musical instrument ???
OH almost forgot a claypipe bowl and about 1/3rd of the stem
that was a cool surprise

Nice variety of stuff. The stencil is cool. Poor little old senile lady. Somebody needs to assist her, does she have children?

i tried
but shes stubborn and doesnt trust anybody
i think the only reason she had me around was to talk to :'(
i could only handle an hour total in 1/2 hour increments
1st half i got there and the last half when she came by to talk to me at about 2.30 pm or so
i didnt post alot of the usual stuff spoon,minature cap gun,LARGE metal spike,horse tack,etc

I commend you for attempting to help her. And although listening to the elderly can be a pain, it is sometimes the only personal contact they have. My late mother's last year of life made me a lot more patient with the elderly, and I'm getting somewhat elderly myself so I have new compassion!!! Good on ya for listening.

like i said i tried to reason with her
she owns 3 other properties(5 total including her house)
on the same road all in a line
i told her she should sell them all off and move to someplace she liked
her answer was
"no Ive payed to much in taxes since 1970 to sell them" ???
HUH ! shes prolly sitting on about a million dollars worth of land
she lease's the fields hence the new Cadillac
her family "is to busy to with there own families"
shes a mule ,boy
honest i tried to point her the right ways suggest things reason with her but no dice :-\
