It's amazing how some things will polish up into something beautiful.Takes some time and hard work but well worth it.Nice going,thanks for sharing.

Its polyped coral, silicified or some call agatized coral. Its a 7 on the hardness scale. Petosky is some kind of coral just not as hard. I have made some nice pieces with petosky and I like it, just traded a dud up north some of mine for some of his.. The black circle piece with the face in it is agatized coral found on the beaches here in Florida just north of me. The top piece of polyped coral in silver I dropped and it skidded on the pavement and got knicked up.
