Inherited it from my great grandma and she once said that she got it in Mexico and that's about it. I also got a leaflet with it stating that it's a Spanish cob made from massive silver from the 16th century but I don't know who wrote it because it's literally just that and a small text about why cobs where made but not a certificate or something like that. It used to be a lot darker on the backside before I cleaned it, maybe it was from a shipwreck or something

I do wish Realeswatcher would find this post. I think the biggest clue will be the distinct parapets on the castle. For those who undertake the task of studying cobs to deeper level, there are some who can determine provenance based on die features.
