It was more interesting than usual today. I dug up a really freaky pendant, it was in the in the median Iv'e been hunting in the last 6 weeks. It has a girl looking into a mirror, her reflection on the glass mirror shows her as a skeleton! Really bizarre !

Another neat find today was a Ford Mercury emblem from the 1950's?

Another first today was digging up a brass alarm clock:icon_scratch:.

A silver ring, two silver dimes, and 9 wheat pennies topped off a really good day of hunting.

Man those are some great finds looks like a lot of history happened right there lots of auto stuff maybe a car garage long ago or a couple of old auto accidents and things flew off, of them. lots of stuff hope ya go back and find some more thanks for the pictures

I've been hunting this median for about 7 or 8 years now. It's two miles long on both sides of a main road. I've found many car parts in there, hub caps, license plates, door handles, and even a windshield wiper, just to mention a few. I believe hundreds of car accidents over the last 100 years has allowed auto parts to be thrown into this area.

I take it back, I think Jewelryguy nailed it. :icon_thumright:

Dude, that girl pendant is killer, I love it! All great finds!

That's not a sterling silver spoon, you've got yourself a coin silver spoon, 1840's-1860's I would say - 90% silver, very nice and rare to find. Clean up the markings and I may be able to tell who made it. Also for the clock, see if the dials and/or numbers have a pale-green paint on them, that looks like a 1930's clock, their dials were often painted with radioactive radium paint - put it under a black light and if it glows you scored a radioactive clock! Really neat!

Awesome Vampire Emblem !
Though Not old it's a shame it's Broken.
