Sons 8th birthday.

When I asked my son what he wanted for his birthday, he said my own metal detector dad.
So he turned 8 today and got his very own Bounty hunter tracker IV.
I let him open it last night even though his birthday is today.
He ran right out to the yard in the dark and cold and found a 79 Lincoln penny.

Just got my kids a new BH for Easter. There are four MDers at my house now and can't wait for them to graduate up to the better more safisticated machines. I hope they grow up to show up the old man. Nothing more exciting than a new detector. Happy Birthday Jonathan!!!

Yep. That's what it's all about. The youth. Congrats to the new digger.

But, alas, I made my pitch. Not enough forward thinkers for it to do any good I guess.

I tried. Might as well teach him it's all about the money, riches, treasure.

My house is much the same. My son and his two- 1/2 brothers and have sister are into it. the youngest turns 3 in may and likes to use the ace 350.
