Spanish Piece of 8 - Help!!

Could use some help identifying this Spanish Piece of 8 I found today. The Spanish occupied our area between 1698 and 1821 so I'm assuming that it's dated somewhere in there. I would particularly like to know where this type was minted and when.

Nice Pistareen! I'm guessing it's from the reign of Philip V (1700-1745). Here's an example of an earlier coin...(note that the letter "U" is Roman style and it is not a match to yours). The ones from the time period mentioned above are, however, a match. I'm sure someone else can narrow down the date range from the assayer's initials--which are partly visible--but I'm not the man for that job. :wink:
