hi all, While going threw some of the shards of pottery and glass late yesterday i did recover a whole pot-lid. Morris's imperal eye ointment and well i thought i had all the pieces of this Dr holloways jar but still missing one piece.Sunday morning here itching to get back too the site but other things have come up. So i have to wait until 3pm this afternoon. :( :( :(

That is a nice piece of pottery. Any ideas of the era? I always like your postings and finds, you seem to go the extra mile to research spots that others don't pursue.

I would have to agree with the above statement, that must have come off an old hucksters wagon in the late 1800's. What a great little piece of history :headbang:
