The St Marys river is low,low,low... and produced ! Had a chance to hunt a Georgia spot this week with my dad, we had a good day,, it was a long day , lots of pop tops and cans... But thats what you expect in an old swimming hole.. About 2 hours into the hunt , the V3i rang a solid 86 at the base of a rope swing,, talk about a thick green jumbo type clay,,, the ring sat in about 5 inches of thick clay in about 3 inches of water.. it was black when it popped out,, I initially thought I'd had a twist top bottle cap,,, but to my surprise it was a jem of a find.. I'm sure we'll be back.. thanks for viewing and happy hunting !!

Been watching, great find man!
I know a lot of us "kids", "lost", a lot of things round them blueholes, springs, swings, hayfeilds, clay pitts, sand dunes, creeks, rivers, rapids, and lakes. Some things, we may not be able to re-claim. ;D
Get into them. Ya never know!
