Nice field set up . :icon_thumright:

I don't really run single loads to done at a time .
So I don't know exact times , but it ain't fast .
Takes a few days to start getting good powder .
Some stuff goes faster than other stuff too .
Now days I load them up ...turn them on and
forget about them for a few days .
When I open them up I dump it into a 50 mesh
screen box and spray it down with the hose .
What don't go through the screen goes back into
the tumblers along with fresh 1/4 stuff .
When I have run as much as I want I let the left
over stuff dry out and dump it back into a can .
I store my cherry picked 1/4 stuff and minus in
trash cans . I'll get around to it all one day .

You might want to look into the use of rod mills for recoveries of finer gold.
Google: Yukon gold "rod mill" pdf

That PDF file is about 11mb. Theres additional information in the forums on gpex but its hard to copy and paste links on my phone.

Basically they run concentrates, like black sands or from partly processed ore with some water in a rod mill then screen it and repeat a few times using progressively finer screens each time. The other minerals get crushed and falls through the screen, while the gold flattens out staying on the screen.

If you have other impurities that flatten due to malleability, such as lead, they should be removed first.

It's the method I plan to use later this summer, but then, I'm hand working my claim without big equipment. There are many sizes of rod mills that can handle from a few pounds to hundreds of pounds and once your material is down to sand size it doesn't take long to process.

Good luck!
