Detector(s) used
EXPLORER SE and an ACE 250
To cold to detect the past 3 months so I read most of the "experts" posts on the se on this site and read Andy Sabisch book The Minelab. This past weekend I went down to KY with my wife while she was being a soldier. I switched my settings a little and used the tips that you guys reccommend and had a great weekend. The snow, ice and frost made digging a little difficult but I found a 64 quarter, 1917 merc and 6 wheaties. More importantly I found the merc and a 1919 wheatie at 7-8 inches. I believe I am finally figuring this machine out . Captn se, silverfreak and the rest of you guys who offer all the hints, thanks again. Last year I was to "busy" detecting to put all your advice to work. Now that I have listened and put your info to use it seemed like a light went on for the finer points of using the se. The end of the month, I will be going down to Texas for a week to practice your pointers again. Thanks. PJ
