I was wondering about checking the PA / WV cornerstone, and was wondering if anyone has checked it. I just got on a job that is only a few miles (more like 20) out of the way, and its about to end in the next week (the job). If you don't know what the corner is. Its the official marker that marks the state line between two states. It was set in place in 1883 and was placed there by the official surveys of Lewis and Clark. I'm also wondering if any travelers long ago used these to judge there location. If so this might be a good site. I know someone had to be there in 1883 to put the marker in place maybe they dropped something.

Detector(s) used
Minelab Vanquish 340, Tesoro Silver uMax, Compadre, and BH Tracker IV.

Ex: White's Spectrum XLT, Tesoro Cutlass II Umax, and that circa late 70's red handled junk from RadioShack that started it.
a tristate marker would have people doing the twister to be in three states at the same time.
