Hi All,

After getting my list of things to do done on Sunday I found that I had a few hours to detect. So I went to an 1810 house I have permission to hunt.I have not been there too many times, but it is the site I found my 1829 Andrew Jackson Campaign Cuff Button. Both the husband and wife who own the property told me I am more then welcome, but probably won't find much there have been a few who have detected before me. I thanked them both for the permission and said I just love to detect. Well this hunt actually was 2 hours and 45 minutes long. I gridded about a 1,000 square foot area only one way. I dug the silver nickle on first hole. Then the second hole I dug the sterling eagle which I believe is a world war 2 Air Force Eagle. So two silvers in two holes isn't bad. I dug 10 wheaties, 6 of them in one whole, two compact cases, 2 washington quarters , 1 standing liberty quarter, a pocket spill of play money, some clad and some other odds and ends. So much for being told you won't find nothing :laughing7:. The one pic with a little bit of silver peaking out in the hole was the Eagle. The second pic with the coin in it was the Standing Liberty. Thanks for looking. Oh and by the way I won't spend all the play money money in one spot. :laughing7:.

I believe those are pilot wings. Those are super cool. Nice finds

Love the name Wood Stock.

Wait, what am I doing here?

Oh yeah - NICE FINDs!!

Those are some nice finds. Love the wings. Keep up the good work.

The wings are Aircrew wings not pilot. Someone who rides in the plane but is not a pilot. They could be 1940s to 1950s most likely. Nice find.
