So spent the last few days in Florida hitting garage sales, estate sales and thrift stores. I’m going to start with the watches. I got about nine watches at a yard sale on Friday. I saw the ad and it mentioned watches so I went over there and was the first one to go through it. He said three dollars each and would bundle them if I bought more than one. He had an amazing collection of character watches mostly quarts that I passed on but I couldn’t pass on The Casio chronograph, Arnette, Fossil Titanium, Swatch Irony and the ladies Longines, Croton , Wittenauer and others. I also bought a Gerard Perregeaux, 1961 Bulova and two 80’s Swatches earlier this week. Most seem to be working View attachment 1577493 View attachment 1577495 ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1523671312.051131.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1523671924.471314.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1523671426.702908.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1523671439.308862.jpg
I also purchased a jewelry bag and the best of it was a small 14kt gold bracelet. I did get three gold filled necklaces is in the bag though and lots of great costume pieces. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1523671494.751482.jpg I also got quite a few service pins and other pins mostly gold filled and some 60’s vintage RCA cuff links. The best fines were two silver plates found a different thrift stores on the same day. I also got a sterling handled pie server which has a really thick handle. Gold always makes it worthwhile. I've been to Flea markets and a few thrift stores in the Naples/ Ft. Myers area. Didn't do too bad at the flea market, I remember that much. Tried to go to an estate sale once when I happened to be over there but it was a fake ad and the sale never happened.

Oh it was a fun time! I’m halfway home had to stop and get some lunch, taking the slow road. I will start a new thread later on though.

Congratulations on your scores. There were a lot of communities sales here in Orlando, hopefully in Naples as well, and you had more good luck! :-)

The two plates ended up weighing a total of 20 Troy ounces. That just about covered my expense for the weekend.
