Hi everyone my name is Steve, I'm from Northwest Connecticut. I'm new here, have been Metal Detecting off and on for ten years (off when the Ex-girlfriend complained it took time away from her.) That is why she is the Ex. I use a Gold Mountain King Cobra, bought it at a tag sale for $20.00 (they didn't know what they were selling.) and a Garrett Ace 150. Both are good machines, but the King Cobra consistently out performs the Ace 150. I do some relic hunting and coin shooting and have found enough change to pay for both of my machines. I have found horseshoes, buttons, railroad spikes, license plate (CT 1941 commercial) and coins ranging in age from 1927 on and Quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. Never took pictures of any, didn't think they were interesting enough I guess and never took my digital camera anywhere. Thanks for having this forum!!!
