Thanks guys. My boxes are the flat style and I have had the same code over this streak. I do however get many codes overall and have had the same code be a skunk for a week or two and then produce silver later.

I have been enjoying this hobby for over two years and mostly do mwr boxes of halves. Despite all my efforts to figure out how the silver works, I have no clue. I order from the same bank each week and dump at the same bank a few hundred yards away. Some weeks the silver is there and others not but as long as you are looking you will find something. There must constantly be people dumping silver into circulation through collection dumps, grandpas stash or some other means.

Either way it has been a fun ride and I will keep at halves until they stop producing.

Good luck guys and happy hunting.

Steven

I can tell when I go through my halves that there are plenty of other CRHers out there. The tellers also say things like, "Oh, a guy came in yesterday and cleaned out all our halves." When I go through my boxes, I see lots of marked coins, marked by other CRHers so they can tell if they are re-searching their old dumps. But in spite of this, I seem to keep finding my fair share of silver. At least in my area there seems to be enough silver to go around. I'm of the opinion that silver is going to skyrocket at some point. I'm afraid that might damage the hobby since everyone might take up CRHing when silver gets to $60 an oz.

What a fun hobby. A new box code and silver keeps pouring in. A 5 90% box and cool old Franklin and some enders as well. My goal was to match last year's total which was 30oz, but you can say that I have surpassed my goal. Almost 5oz this week, 8 90% and 14 40% Happy hunting.

More great boxes and another great week. The silver is sure adding up for you - esp with all the 90%ers you keep finding. You've been able to keep a really good box average after so many boxes this year. Sounds like you've already more than doubled your silver totals from last year and if you can keep getting more good boxes maybe you can triple your silver totals from last year by the end of this year.

I like how you keep track of your per box averages. Starting in 2015, I think I will start doing this. Great week for you--multiple silvers in every box. I absolutely love finding Franklins--probably my favorite coin.

Sorry for not updating last three weeks. Week one was slow, only 3 40% and a few proofs. Week two was great, all boxes produced and over 4 oz of silver. 16 40% and 2 90% 1964. Last week was a total skunk, but a few proofs.

Been crazy busy with graduate school, family and work. Last seven weeks or so have been slow in CRH. One here or there mostly and no coins one week due to coin counter being out of operation. Lots of clad proofs and 1987 though. This week was great however with a new box code and the two boxes producing 3 90% and 30 40%. Still having fun and amazed. Good luck everyone.

Amazing boxes. Just goes to show that if you push through a lot of skunk boxes and near skunk boxes, you will eventually hit the amazing boxes from time to time.

Ended the year with some great boxes. Had some short rolls for the first time ever. Bender in the last box of the year. 7 Ben Franklins, 1 walker and a 1964 in the last 4 boxes. Overall a great year and surpassed my expectations. Lots of cool finds this week. Good luck next year all.

Very nice end! I was only able to do 3 boxes early last week and they were all skunks... Hope next year starts how this year ended :)

Nice boxes to end the year with. My last four boxes were skunks, but got lucky on some loose halves. Nice silver total for the year.
