Definitely a Stone Bead and a killer one at that. From the look of the hole it was reed drilled.

Thanks for the comments and info guys. I'm in the process of clearing a small piece of land near where the bead was found that has a large number of yucca plants growing on it. Yucca is a not a native species in my neck of the woods and I've learned over the years that where there is yucca there are also artifacts. Hope to have some new pics in the near future. Thanks again for all the comments.
