dose anyone have any info on the stone house gang?

they were a group of counterfeiters and house thieves in buter county

its said they had a hide out 2mi SE of the old stone house

do you mean The Stone Tavern gang ? or Stone House Tavern ?

try about 2 miles South east of what was known as the

Old Stone Tavern on rt. #8.

in the 1840's a gang of Counterfeiters & Horse Thieves
supposedly had their hideout in that area.

And would also wait there for Patrons of the tavern to
come by.
