Brought back memories, some only seen at night now. Often I wake and can still smell the damn jungle. Break time was for picking leaches off. Yes, Cobras were a welcome sight. The AF A 10 had even better firepower and a napalm drop was hard to beat.

Leaches....... After a week at LZ Spearhead in Cambodia we were all stinking pretty bad. 8 or 10 guys at a time went down the mountain to a stream to bathe.

I came out with leaches all over me - stickem with a cigarette and they'd drop off. Disgusting critters.
