Strange end to the day.

My heavy searching days are numbered so I tried to hit is hard today. I did four hundred in hand rolled quarters (skunk) and eight hundred in hand rolled dimes. I had gotten through $790 in dimes and had four silver Roosies.

Then I opened that second to last roll: 17 silvers!!!

The silver was mixed with a bunch of recent coins. I'd just love to know that story. How does that happen. To me that is more of a mystery than a dream roll.

Anyhow, I ended up with 21 silvers for the day (no important dates and no Mercs). Feeling satisfied.

Tomorrow I plan to do another eight hundred in dimes and see what happens. I'm still hoping for a Merc (would be my third week in a row).

My guess is that 17 silver dimes was someone's entire collection. Nice score!
