Any ideas as to what this face is on this 18th Century sleeve button?

Looks like a 19th century neo classic button featuring a representation of an ancient Greek acting mask. The neoclassic phase in society was first half 19th century. Ancient Greek, Roman, Phoenician themes were popular back then.

What’s the size please? If it’s dandy button sized and cast rather than stamped then it’s a grotesque from the butt of a flintlock pistol

So let's get the ID straight first before we do any searching.
Is it a cufflink or a button?
Picture of the other side would be good and a size reference
Thanks

It is 13mm. It looks much like the Head of Gorgon. Here is a picture of the back.

Really must be my phone optics.
But I only see a dark picture of a blurry button.
Looks modern 20th century, tried to help with photo of the back.

Let us know if that face haunts your dreams tonight. Don't worry, it is just a minor demonic entity. Hahaha
