Today was day 3 of this trip. I hit the water at 08:30 and was out at 10:45. There were lots of swimmers in by that time and the water was getting to rough for me. Totals for today were, 27 euros (about $38.00) 1 gold religious metal (18k), 3 silver. The silver chain has small Lincoln pennys as charms. Strange to find something like that in Spain. Not a bad day for an old man. Will keep you posted.

Those Euros really help the count don't they! (in between finding the Gold)

I'm following your trip and finds with a lot of interest. My wife and I took some shorter visits to Spain in the 80's. Amazing tourist activity there on the beautiful beaches.

Are you doing any Roman coin hunting?

What karat are you finding on the rings?

Hi Joe:

We are not doing any dirt diggin at this time. But we have found roman coins in the water. I think they may have been moved onto the beach during construction of the new walkways. Almost all the gold we find is 18k but we do find a little of everything. 8-9-14 and a couple of years ago I found a 10k Black hills gold ring at Benidorm you never know. (Ain't it fun) Thanks for lookin.

Hi Cru-

You can hunt in specific areas. On private land that has no scheduled ark. sites There is a specified distance from these sites where you are allowed to hunt.

Great finds for such a short hunt :icon_thumleft: Keep it up and it will surely defray the costs of the trip ;D
