Strange fossil/metorite?

Discovered this in the yard today. All I have learned is that it does not react to magnets. Any guesses (educated or otherwise) are welcome!?

Thanks Phil, let me try this once more. I have been doing some research online and found a good resource at the University of Washington St. Louis:

Apparently, meteorites don't have "vesicles" or holes. Still and interesting rock that will take its place on my mantle for many years to come.
