Paranormal Or coincidence I'm not sure.

About 3 Years ago I bought a Box of goodies at a Auction.
In it was this Elgin Watch.

Used if for a short While & Forgot all about it.

Today while looking through the Console in my truck
I saw it in the bottom, Pulled it out
and Wound it.

Went to set the time & it was Exactly on time. :o

Had to be in my truck for at least 2 years.
Never kept perfect time when I used it.

I wonder What the odds Are :P

I don't think it's paranormal, Jeff. It's the kind of coincidence that has woke me up this morning, though. Thanks. :)

Nice watch, also.

Jeff, I don't know the odds for that to happen, but if you figure the amount of seconds, minutes, hours, days,ect... Then throw in if there was a leap year in there, well, I'm no mathematician but, YES, I would figure that the odds are astronomical against pure happenstance! Gypsy Heart, I believe I LIVE in the Twilight Zone! Great hunting and good luck! Richard.

Hello, Don Jose de La Mancha, Great to hear from you!! Thank you for your compliment! Yes, the red triplane is indeed a work of art! Just think, less than 20 years before, the craft of the day was made from spare bicycle parts!! Good Luck and Great Hunting!! Regards, Richard.

HIO my Friend sky: I believe that the triplane was considered the most maneuverable of all, with the exception of the Neuport with the Gnome rotary engine which utilized the torque from the engine to turn unbelievably fast.

Don Jose de La Mancha, Hello my Friend!!! Thank you for the information! Indeed, I've read that the torque of the little rotary engine was awesome! I can't begin to imagine the obstacles our older Brothers had to overcome!! I really love those old planes and the Fokker DRI is definitely my favorite!! Regards, Richard.
