I was detecting in the same woods that produced a colonial flat button, and found a necklace with a style that I have never seen. On Google I could not find a single necklace with that style. Right now I really want to know about the necklace. The main part of the necklace is fairly heavy and has a shiny to dull silver patina (no corrosion),with the other part of it being iron showing bits of plating. Also, not everything in that woods is old, I have even found state quarters and zincs in that woods.

P.S. With discrim at 50 on my T2 SE it did not show up on my Metal detector.:icon_scratch: The reason I found it was because the was a piece of foil in that hole.

It has a lobster claw clasp so unless somebody replaced the original clasp I dont think the necklace is too old.

HI the first thought that came to mind is a pager chain. these were common from 2002-2004ish with teens and drug dealers. just a thought... chains.jpg
