FIRST LAYER:

2 c. crushed pretzels, may be stale or fresh
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 stick butter, melted

SECOND LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 c. sugar

THIRD LAYER:

1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
2 c. hot water or pineapple juice
1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen whole strawberries or 1 qt. fresh strawberries, thickly sliced

Mix first layer ingredients together. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Mix second layer ingredients until smooth. Spread over cooled crust. Mix third layer ingredients. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Chill until firm. Cut into squares and serve.
