Spent 6.5 hours (13 man hours) finishing gridding the last 2 acres of the last of our stubble fields. Its the first year we have tried this field but it will be the last & we are glad to cross it off the list. It has been worth it for a once over as I had a Rare Saxon Stirrup Terminal but otherwise its poor land.

Hammered Ed I - London - common type but in nice condition
I saved the most interesting find that Dad had put in his Lead pocket for recycling. Turns out its a Medieval Secular Badge (Fluer-de-lue), if its not a badge as I'm a little unsure then its a mount of some sort Whatever, its our first & in OK condition being in Lead & found in plough soil.
