Submersible Metal detectors

Hi, I'm new to th and looking at getting a new detector, mine is a coinmaster 6000.Is the minelab ctx3030 really worth the price?

The man asked about a meter for a water machine.....This is the only one that I know of.....I am not a beach hunter, so I can not comment.

Unless you choose to buy a used machine, most submersible detectors going to cost more than the AT Pro. If you are intending to search freshwater, I would suggest a used Tiger Shark.

When purchasing a water detector you have to take in account the machine will pay for itself in a short time, and all is based on your hunting locations. With this you can take the proceeds and purchase a screen machine for the land. Now this is rare but a distant friend just found a beautiful ring a few weeks ago, took it to the Jeweler, they recommended sending it to have it GIA cert. On return the jeweler bought the "stones only" for 35 g and he kept the Plat ring, less stones...hard to believe I agree but nothing better then a pic of the proceeds of the sale..less the purchase of a new CTX.

Great find!
Someday I hope to be able to tell a similar story.

It was a Banner find for sure, 3 carats, biggest Diamond ring I have ever seen found by a metal detector...And the beauty of beach detecting is before every scoop we all dream of the big one...:icon_thumleft:

hey this is off the subject but can you switch between the 8in. and the 11in. coils on the eurotek pro or do you have to get two different machines?

and what do you guys prefer the Eurotek pro or the Fisher f2

You can switch coils. No need to have separate machines.
