Sunday fun day!

Got skunked yesterday and found only the bottom jaw to a small hog and cleaned litter until we got rained out.

But today was beautiful. The kids had a friend over so we threw them out into history with shovel, a pointer, and detector! They had a blast and found most of their goodies right on top of the rows.

Their friend picked up a collection of pottery and old glass. One of my girls even found old railroad button she was pretty excited about! I actually found an N&W button in the same area a few weeks ago. Don’t know what half of the other stuff even is, but they had a good time! Love being able to get the kids involved! All I found was a 1934 wheaty and junk LOL!

Oh yea I spent more time answering to "mom look what I found!" than I did digging my own stuff lol But it was great. This field is perfect since it's wide open, they can run far and I can still see them, and there's so much to find right on top of the ground. I hope to take them back out this Sunday since it'll be pretty again.
