Today was cloudy, windy and overcast, so we decided to do the crop cover strips and the grass tracks round the fields. Turned out was a good idea 😆 xx

Himself certainly did good today finding this gorgeous brooch, I believe it is Roman. Cute little buckle, a Bull’s nose ring, part of a buckle, little lead weight and tack pins, some kind of projectile, piece of plate and spoon handle, young Victoria half penny and 3 Romans 😆 xx (first and last only one side as the other side is poor) xx

Back to rain again tomoz, so don’t think we will get out 😞… but…. On our wander we noticed lost a bare patches we think the crop has failed so Himself will be asking if we can go on those bits and detect 😆 which will be excellent if we can! xx

That is a really great looking broach that Himself recovered.
Well dug for sure.
Liking the buckle as well.
Sorry to hear the wet weather has shortened up the hunting time.
