The Sunray works far better than the Bullseye in most all places. I use it on the DFX and M6. It will get upwards of three inches of depth. It is very nice when digging a deeper target and once the plug has been turned over use it to pinpoint with much better accuracy. I rarely use the Bullseye anymore.

Just one more question. Which model do I get? The DX-1 or the XL-1?

The DX-1. I have read that it needs to be over serial #699 to work on the M6.

I just bought a DX-1 for my M6 this last weekend and I love it. I have been using the Vibraprobe and I will keep it for backup, but the DX-1 is excellent espcially with its depth.

Keep diggin'...
