Bought it in January and for the first time put itand took it to a Park in Ohio where I had dug Seated coins. Three hours later I had a very good day. Finds for the day are:
$2.22 in clad
1 Seated Quarter(1876-cc)
1 Merc(1937)
9 wheats(not pictured)(1919-1945)
5 Indian Cents(79, 80(2), 97, 02)
1 small gold ring
The quarter was about 7 inches deep and sound clear. The Merc was also a very good sound and maybe three inches deep. The Indians ranged from three to six inches and still nice signals. I don't believe I would have missed any signal with my stock coil, but had fun with the X-12.
