Nice finds! The brooch & ring date approximately 1775-1820 era. The ring is just like the one's I find in my area.........brass composite with glass "stones".

Yes very nice, my first brooch was missing the clasp and at first I thought it to be too modern, possibly a spark plug washer or something and too shiny (silver), but the notch threw me off! I now keep everything untill its identified! never could find it again in the farmers field.
