Here in Canada, they always look at me weird when ever I look in the drawer to "See" what may be lurking inside... yet to find a sole single silver...
Canada must be Silver dry/ deprived or hoarded...

Can't believe that someone actually spent an ASE at a thrift store. They really must have been HURTING FOR QUICK CASH. Great catch. Maybe you should follow that person around town to catch more.

To Bquamb: From what I have been told, the Canadian government retains the silver and copper from circulation. Yet, I heard about a guy that got $300 in face dimes and quarters from a bank in Vancouver suburbs. It was dropped off by an estate executor.

Sounds like they shouldn't have had that position...
