Surf City and Topsail Beach

Heading down tomorrow morning for my first beach hunt and also first time my wife will accompany me. I sure hope we find a little something to keep her interested! Would have loved to have gone right after Labor Day, but couldn't manage it.

Good luck on your hunt tomorrow. Hope you find something nice. I'll be hitting some woods about 25 miles south of you for a couple hours. I'm holding off on the beach till next season so it'll be relic hunting till then. Do you live nearby?

What a beautiful day! Not a lot of good stuff, but I did help clean up the beach. $1.21 in clad, 50 beer caps, 6 tent pegs, an e-cig, and plenty of foil,, bobby pins, and a clothes pin.

holly ridge and surf, I would detect away from the coast and look for ww relics at the old camp davis base,,,,,,, most people dont care if you detect, my fav is down trout str. where the sewer plant was, also alot of old concrete pads all around there ,,,, well good luck next time
