Sweeping the park

A cold front came through and dropped the temps about 15 degrees. Sooooo, since my beach finds haven't been all that great, I figured I'd hunt a park that I hit a handful of times last summer. Last summer, my ring count was 2 gold and 1 silver ,including my very first class ring. Today, I decided to use my Silver Umax with the clean sweep coil due to the large field at this park. This park has a tot lot as well, at least it used to!!! I was surprised to see that all the playground equipment had been removed. Well, no rings today, but I did find a bunch of clad, oldest being a 47 nickel. I may just have to put the stock 8 inch coil on and hit again next Monday.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes Diamondjim, it is a zippo. As soon as I dug it up I remembered someone on here(I think it was Jeff of PA) saying a while back that they do that.

The Zippo is a great piece of equipment to have on you even if you don't smoke. I carry one camping all the time.

I couldn't agree more. I've carried a lighter for years. Starting when I was in the military.
