Early swords are good detectors, but you may want to have the seals checked to be sure they are not dried out..

TH is correct, they do make for excellent hunting in the wet, and up to waist deep...after that, best to have the seals checked for sure. A easy job, if need I can post info...

I was also wondering performance wise is it outdated tech wise or a good machine..
Ihave a Detector pro and love it
it goes deep but have to dig everything
I would not give it up but I love hunting the beach
I only get there twice a year but when I am there thats all I do
For land I have a whites xlt and love that machine too

Could you post the info for me OBN? I would really appreciate it. I am a dumby wheb it comes to taking things apart and putting them back the right way. I have had mine a while now and have not been confident enough to submerge it.
