So was out the other night and had a good solid dime hit. I pinpointed it and had a pretty good pinpoint at 5 inches and started a fairly small hole. Can't believe I didn't hit the sword end. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1475796572.903311.jpg

I think Texas Ed needs to start a "Dirt Fishing" thread for us to post our Fresh fish from the dirt pictures on! I found this one inland at a house a couple of months ago. It isn't nearly as majestic as your swordfish but this sucker type fish (Detectediidae Dirticus) is ecologically important.

I haven't found any Dirt Fish - but still swinging for landlocked steelhead! (My line when encountering Fishermen on the E. Fork)
