I own a different Tag....had it for over 20 years ...mine isn't pitting...maybe someone else can offer you some advice on it.

The dial looks good to me but in searching for Tag Heuer 52472...sources state that is is faked a lot. And one person on Watchuseek said there should not be “1500” on the dial.

Can't beat it for 8 bucks. I have seen a few Tag's in the thrift shops and so far everyone has been a knock off. I even bought a ladies one, because it was a better looking fake than some I've seen and it was on sale at 1/2 off which cost around $3.50. I showed it to my wife and she liked it, so I gave it to her, but she only put it on a couple times I think. She has a smart watch now. Any time you see a high-end popular name brand watch in the 2nd market like a thrift store you gotta wonder who and why would they just donate such an expensive watch.

Not sure of it's authenticity, but I would definitely wear it! :icon_thumleft:

If you look at the lume dots you can see it is kind of roughly done. Also the case should be I believe titanium or stainless steel which would not pit.
