I doubt it was a hoax. Some guys think that type of action is romantic, but it can backfire in a second Many guys just get their signals crossed from the jump, and this is a good case of that too.
And that my friends will lead me to a new and different post on the topic of romance. And yes, I am an expert in this area.
Well most of us been there done that. Brought our "special Love' to the very first place we met, etc. Now he thought it was a good idea to propose to her at their first place they met at.
I can only figure 3 things;
1. She isn't ready to marry and was probably embarrassed about being proposed to at the mall.
2. Her name is Caroline and maybe she always hated the song, "Sweet Caroline"
3. OR........Both number 1 and 2 played the part of her running out of the mall!
It seems now a days people don't want to be romantic or do something unusual, like propose at the mall?
If....and I mean If....I say again IF, I was in love with someone and wanted to propose to them I would most likely bring them back to the first place I met them and propose to them.
It is a good thing that guy didn't meet her at the welfare office that would have certainly ruined everything!!!!!!
Proposing at the food court. Mistake number 1
Having a guy play the guitar who can't sing. Mistake number 2
The woman looked shocked and not in a good way. Almost like she had no idea the proposal was coming or he was the last guy on the planet that she expected ( or wanted) a proposal from.
