Tallahatta Quartzite Point

Found and Recovered this Tallahatta Quartzite point here in Simpson County Mississippi. Found this point along Strong River. This has to be one of my favorite lithic materials we have down here in the South.

I know a guy that lives on the MS, Al state line. And him and his ol lady find TQ points almost every time!

Yeah I have heard that. I personally just got into flint-knapping. Haven’t tried it yet. Doesn’t preserve well either.
