Target Rich Environment

Got on a new site with Tony where where targets were plentiful...but quality was lacking. Got a handful of musketballs, five crusty coppers with only one identifiable as a Geo II, a lead disc with a "B" engraved on it, four tombac buttons including one with a Tudor Rose and what would have been a great shoe buckle. Fun day!

It's great to be digging these days!
And as long as you're digging lots ,it helps to keep the cold from sending you home!

But the quality can change pretty damn fast.... and I know that first hand! Pewter buttons can hide well.
