I could have swore yesterday I had dug everything as I didn’t find anything for hours today I tried a different approach usually I go east to west or diagonally today I started north n south which I semi do every time I go and I started finding stuff first was this nice colonial two pronged fork then buttons thimbles and some iron found these pretty quickly pewter and green Indy colored one were deep pewter one came in as a nail or iron with some quick good numbers on vdi so I dug it just in case found nails then while digging out more nails I found the pewter it has a cool design although I can’t figure out what it is maybe flowers? I can’t tell what the big gray are under the petals or whatever they are . Found horse shoe and some other iron stuff and many many nails n pieces of small iron

Nice fork and really nice pewter button. I still haven't found either but I know the day will come! I like that you continue to go back to the spot and find new stuff! As long as you are finding targets you never know with a spot like that what exactly turns up on the next target!

Yes I was digging nails out of a plug and that pewter jumped out I wasn’t expecting it it was fairly deep I saw some good numbers flash quickly on my machine that’s why I dug it . So I wonder how much more is there I missed it also happened with that equipment buckle . I need a sifter !

Thanks crusader I thought that piece was maybe another two pronged fork handle I knew I’ve seen it before just couldn’t place it the weird end of it was throwing me off good ID once again and thanks for the keg tap they must have drank a lot as I found another key here two years ago but I didn’t recognize the partial key. Lol

Nice finds. You are digging at a tavern, so you would expect keg spigot (barrel tap) paraphernalia. That key would have mated with a keg spigot cap with a triangular opening like the one in this picture. Keg Spigots top.jpg

thanks I did find the spigot/tap two years ago and a key now I found another partial key
