Tax Token, 3 silver's, and a IHC
Today I was able to find some lost coins. I started off the day hunting a local park and I was digging all mid and high tones. I came across a signal in the "pull tab" range and I dug it, just in case there was something better than a pull tab a little deeper. To my surprise, at about six inches deep, I pulled out a nickel. Something was different about this nickel when I uncovered it. Usually the nickels that I dig that deep are reddish orange and black. This one was nice and mostly silver. I took a closer look and saw the mintmark on the back "P"! This was my first silver nickel that I have dug! Very excited!
Finding the nickel was a great start to the day. After more searching, I found an Arizona Tax Token, a few wheat cents, two more silver coins, and a IHC! Oh yeah, I also found a lot of trash.
